We both started as news journalists and between us we have run the BBC's Production Department, filmed on the slopes of Mount Everest, revamped TV New Zealand's National Newsroom and helped to launch Bear Grylls' career!

But most important we have spent a combined 60 years telling other peoples' stories, so it's a hard habit to break.

We also love allowing great pictures to do the talking.  Throw in some very photogenic food and drink, a "cool" chef or two and a sprinkling of foodie passion and we're in our element.
